How do I get nail glue off of my fingernails?

Its that crap you use to put on fake nails, but now I cant get it off! I've tried nail polish remover, but that didn't help at all!

what do I do?How do I get nail glue off of my fingernails?
acetone. you can get a small bottle from walmart for like $1.How do I get nail glue off of my fingernails?
You can buy remover at any beauty supply store. It should say on the label that it works on cyanoacrylate adhesive or nail glue.

Here's what a manufacturer's website says:

http://www.ca-plus.com/firstaid.html

adhesives are rapid curing, strong bonding agents which will bond human tissue and skin in seconds. Experience has shown that accidents due to cyanoacrylates are handled best by passive, non-surgical first aid.

Cyanoacrylates work best with tension. Pulling bonded materials apart (fingers included) will strengthen the bond. Cyanoacrylates have the lowest strength in a peel mode. Acetone and CA PLUS Debonder will also release the cured adhesive.

Because the bond is created so quickly, rushing to pull skin apart ';before it bonds'; is pointless. Just remain calm and take your time.

Treatment of specific types of accidents are given below.

Skin

Immerse bonded areas in warm soapy water. Peel or roll skin apart. Peel the skin apart with a spatula, teaspoon handle or a pencil by pushing it between the bonded areas. Remove cured adhesive with warm, soapy water. This may take several applications. Acetone or CA PLUS Debonder is also effective in removing cured cyanoacrylate off of skin.

(PS. Don't retaliate -- the other person might just do something even worse to get back at you.)
oh that always happens to me. there is this glue remover that you can buy that is supposed to take the glue off but i dont think it works. just live with the results, or next time get the salon to remove them. good luck.

oh and question: did your nails get ';cuts'; in them where the base of the fake nail was. that always happens to me.
