I heard that sometimes people have used super glue to hold together an open wound, is this true and can you do this with nail glue, or basiclly super glue, is it toxic and will it harm you if you try it?

I had a cut once and they glued it back, but it wasnt super glue, it was medicall glue. Im pretty sure u cant use regular household glue on cuts
