When installing click lock bamboo flooring do you still need to glue or nail it in place?

No because thats the beauty of the flooring. The only thing you may have to glue and or nail is any transition pcs. The tracks that they snap into so no nails can be seen..

I f you nail it or glue it at all it wont expand and contract as its supposed to and will buckle

Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar .. GLWhen installing click lock bamboo flooring do you still need to glue or nail it in place?
There is no need for you to use glue or nail it to install. Click lock or floating floors like you mentioned can be installed in any type of subfloor because there is no need to directly attach the floor on the underlayment. And these type of floors are the easiest to install. When installing click lock bamboo flooring do you still need to glue or nail it in place?
the only time u need to glue it is when u cant pick up the board high enough to fit it into the groove. for instance lets say u are working towards a cabinet and your last piece is 4 inch under. you cant pick it up high enough to snap it into place much less get your fingers behind it to snap it in. dont try to get a molding bar and pop it in. get a small planer or a utility knife and shave off the lip on the board already down. place a small bit of wood glue in that seam, then the board will just slide into place and put a little masking tape to hold it overnight. oh and another good trick, when your putting your molding down, put weight where your about to nail and put pressure on the molding so its pressed down.if u dont and the molding is up so much, if u caulk it and alot of traffic goes over that spot it will stretch and need to be redone
No. It's designed to be a floating floor. It needs to be able to expand and contract due to changes in humidity. Nailing or gluing it down will cause the floor to buckle. Hope this helps.
No. If it's click locking then it will hold itself together without glue or nails when installed properly.
