it'll be used to repair/prevent a tiny scag on a dress - its 100% polyester - the scag in this dress looks like the type you'd get on sheer tights/stockings after catching them on a door frame or catching them with a split nail or something. its almost unrecognisable but if the dress pulls or stretches i can see a hole coming as a result!Could you substitute fabric glue with a dot of nail glue?
Yes you could. Also there is Fray Check, much like fabric glue, for the same problem, available at craft stores and fabric stores.
