Can clear nail polish/nail glue be used as a clear coat to keep those metal rings from turning fingers green?

If not any suggestions, other than suggesting not wearing them, on what can be used would be appreciated. Can clear nail polish/nail glue be used as a clear coat to keep those metal rings from turning fingers green?
yes clear nail polish works great! Can clear nail polish/nail glue be used as a clear coat to keep those metal rings from turning fingers green?
if your speaking of costume jewelry that oten turns your fingers green yes. you paint the clear nail polish all over the metal part of the jewlery and let it dry you may want to do atleast three coats so it lasts awhile. but this will prevent the jewlery from turning your skin a nasty green color.
Clear nail polish....I wouldn't use the glue. The polish does wear off. You have to keep applying it to make sure stays coated.
Clear nail polish works just fine, but make sure to re-apply every few weeks.
don't be so cheap, 10 kt gold isn't so much
clear nail polish is good
